Then we have the Audi, which has double the number of cylinders under the bonnet, where it houses a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that puts down 507hp and 770Nm of torque. It’s also oh-so-much heavier than the Golf, tipping the scales at 2,250kg! So sure, the Audi has way more power, but it’s also 700kg heavier!
