What an absolute whirlwind of a game, this Lions vs Blues 2023 preliminary final had it all! Got the call up earlier in the week from Carlton to speak at their members pre-game function, loved seeing the old fans and had plenty of good banter. We then headed into the gabba to support the boys with plenty of beers along the way, ran into a couple old team mates in Brendan Fevolva, Dylan Buckley & Ryan Houlihan. Amazing scenes in the Lions rooms after the win, incredibly happy for the boys! On to the granny! Fairytale finish with my old housemate Keidan "Kiddy" Coleman playing the best game of his career and receiving The Mitch Robinson Medal!
