The Vienna opening is an insanely powerful weapon against E5 after E4. It is one of my favorite openings and for good reason. It is objectively sound as well as very dangerous for black, and because we play NC3 instead of the more common NF3, it also catches the unsuspecting black player offguard. There is also the Vienna Gambit which is according to the computer completely sound as well as extremely tricky for black with massive blunder potential. Enjoy playing the Vienna!
